The chargeable weight of an individual parcel is the gross or dimensional weight rounded up to the nearest kilo. The chargeable weight of a multi-parcel consignment is the aggregate total of each individual package rounded up to the nearest full kilo.
Dimensional weight will be applied on all Domestic Next Day deliveries where the volume of any single parcel exceeds 4,242 cubic centimeters per kilo. For our International Economy Express service, the conversion factor is 4,000 cubic centimeters per kilo. For our International Global Express service, the conversion factor is 5,000 cubic centimeters per kilo and for our Sea Freight service, the conversion factor is 6,000 cubic centimeters per kilo.
How to Measure Your Parcel Size
It is recommended that you calculate the dimensional weight for every parcel that you send then compare this to its actual weight. The greater weight of the two is used to calculate the price that we charge you. Dimensional Weight is calculated using the formula below:
Domestic Next Day: In centimeters L x W x H then divide by 4242 = dimensional weight
International Economy: In centimeters L x W x H then divide by 4000 = dimensional weight
International Global Express: In centimeters L x W x H then divide by 5000 = dimensional weight
Sea Freight: In centimeters L x W x H then divide by 6000 = dimensional weight
